Things I need to do
- write core content (beta version) of new book as quickly as possible (Update: almost done)
- Put beta version of new book on this wiki for others to edit
- Find technology to allow people to submit and vote on post ideas, guest posters (see decisions)
- Find technology to allow readers to moderate comments -- mark or unmark as spam
- Create wiki page for upcoming posts
- Figure out best technology for making all my ZH communications public - wiki? forum? Note: Right now I think this wiki will be fine. Possibly campfire for chats.
- Create spreadsheet for monthly ZH financial data, share on this wiki (scary!)

Hey Leo, today I'm working on an application to store and display upcoming post ideas. I was thinking: once I have the items there, I could easily incorporate Google Friend Connect gadgets to give us the rating and comment/review system you mention here. I could code it from scratch, but this may work better. Also of interest, Friend Connect also has Polls widgets, Event widgets (say, to announce a live video session), and Answers widgets for people to ask and answer questions. Maybe one thing to do would make project pages for these sub-projects of post ideas and guest posters.

In terms of web hosting I'm a huge fan of thiswebhost.com
They're a small company so I'm assuming they have low overheads, hence very fair prices. Been with them for about 5 months now and can't complain. :-)

@Ryan: Yes, I think incorporating Google Friend Connect could work well!
