Guest posts

Page history last edited by Mike Roy 9 years, 2 months ago

At the moment, I have a backlog of guest posts that will last about 4 weeks, as I only run one guest post a week. That's a big difference from before, when it used to take 8 weeks for a guest post to run.

I'm creating this page to have a place where readers can see what guest posts are coming up, and writers can request to be a guest writer for Zen Habits, and readers can vote.

I'm working on a way to have people vote on potential guest writers, but for now, please feel free to add your name and website below, along with the guest topic you'd like to present. You'll need to have an account and log in, then you can edit this page and add your info below.

Please note: Just because you add your name isn't guarantee you'll get a spot, but you'll be on the list. :)

Now that I've added my name, I'm wondering what the process is.
Do I submit to you when it is done, or will you give a go-ahead to proposed guest posters?
Thanks!

Just wrote it and changed it to 5 Ways To Travel More With Less - it was too long otherwise. I can always write part 2 if you like it:)

Hi Leo,

Thanks so much for creating this space for us. I would really love to be considered for a guest post opportunity at ZenHabits. My suggested topic, How To Know When It's Time To Move On, may not seem immediately connected with Zen Habit's theme of simplicity, but it really is. It's about knowing what are our relationships/friendships that stopped working and moving on to live in line with our true selves. Simplify our relationships, drop undesirable ones and focusing on strengthening the ones that truly matter.

If you'd prefer another topic, I'm happy to propose a different one too.

Hey Leo. There's one thing I need to tell you about the system you have for people to contact you: it's really lazy, and I say that in the best sense of the word. You save a lot of worries for yourself, and that's something we should learn to do.

Anyway, I could write an article for you titled The Ultimate Lazy Man's Morning Routing. I know you are an early riser and support that habit. I'm more of the opposite and I think your readers would benefit from reading a similar yet different approach.

Contact me through:

Cheers,
Iván.

Hi Leo,

I appreciate that you've created this space for guest-posters. But, for me, the wait for a response (13 weeks) has been excessive.

I'll be taking my post someplace else, but best of luck to those who decide to stick it out. :)

The article: Zen and the Art of Kettlebell Training is about the ultimate in minimalist fitness: 1 kettlebell, 2 movements, fast effective fat loss workouts, and the joy of doing less things but doing them better.

Hi Leo,

My website, Eyes on the Rise, will launch on July 10th. I have submitted my name and topic above: "Find Meaning by Asking the Right Questions". If you want to read a little more about why I wanted to submit to your blog, and the impact that one of your articles had on my life, read this post I wrote on the Eyes on the Rise facebook page:
